# Retry Job

> Resume a job, re-queueing only its unfinished items.

Retries IN PLACE on the same ``job_id`` so the job stays the single thing a
customer watches from start to finish. ``job_items`` is the source of
truth for what is left: anything not SUCCESS or SKIPPED is re-queued.

**Authentication Required**: Requires `job:create` permission.
