Create your account
Go to app.merchantops.ai/signup, enter
your name and work email, and submit. MerchantOps emails you a magic link —
there is no password to choose. Click the link to finish signing in.What happens next depends on whether your company is already on MerchantOps:
- You’re the first person from your company. You land in onboarding: name your organization and pick its URL slug (availability is checked as you type), then invite teammates. After that you’re in the dashboard.
- Your company already has an organization. Sign-in recognizes your email and takes you straight to the dashboard. If it doesn’t recognize you, ask an admin on your team to invite you from Settings → Members, then sign in with the invite email.

Add product data
From Products → Add product you have four ways in:
- Manual — enter one product’s details by hand.
- CSV — upload a source file. Required columns:
keyandname;brand, vendorId, andproductTypeare optional. - URL — paste a product page URL and queue that one product for enrichment.
- Crawl — point MerchantOps at a site and let it discover products.
.xlsx export, which can carry variant rows alongside their parent product.Imports run as a job, so you can track progress as products are created
and queued for enrichment. See Core concepts.A file upload is capped at 250 products. The cap counts products, not
rows — a file with several variant rows per product can be much longer
than 250 lines and still import. Over the cap the upload is rejected with
an error naming the product count; split the file and upload it in parts.

Let enrichment run
Each product is enriched automatically: the platform searches the shared
lakehouse, scrapes the brand site, generates missing content, and
standardizes attributes. Which source wins a given field is configured per
property — the brand site leads on identity fields like name and brand,
generated copy leads on description and SEO content — and the values you
entered are protected on every field except description, features, and meta
title. See How enrichment works. Watch progress
on the Jobs page.

Review and publish
Review enriched products and their variants, set pricing, and approve the
batch — its records go active inside MerchantOps. Optionally publish the
batch to an external target (e.g. VTEX); publishing to a target is a
separate step and is batched, versioned, and audited.
